The hidden treasure of Johari
Johari would not be possible if it were not for the incredibly talented young designers and dressmakers that come to work with us. And this is where the Johari story is so special.
Johari directly supports and employs the skills of graduates from the Seed of Hope vocational training schools located throughout Kenya. Seed of Hope centres offer opportunity to destitute teenage girls who would otherwise be left to a life of poverty, abuse and hopelessness. The centres provide training in life-skills, vocational and micro-enterprise development to help mentor these girls to an independent and self-sufficient future.
